NORMAL, Ill. – As the calendar nears June, the Weisbecker Scholarship Fund (WSF) is looking forward to a new initiative aimed at adding 61 new members over the next two months as part of the Building Futures campaign.
From June 1 through July 31, the goal is to add 61 new WSF members, one new member per day, who will assist in helping fund scholarships and build high-quality experiences for Redbird student-athletes.
"Building Futures is so important to what we look to do as a department," ISU Assistant Athletics Director for Development Sean Johnson said. "When our student-athletes choose to be a Redbird, they're making a choice that we can develop them into a successful person outside of competition and we take that very seriously. We can't do that without the generosity and support of so many Redbirds and I can't wait to see how we can continue to build futures for our student-athletes."
