ISU Athletics And Redbird Golf To Host Weibring Golf Classic

NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State Athletics and the Redbird golf teams invite you to join us for the Weibring Golf Classic to be hosted on Friday, August 13, 2021.
 
Funds raised by the Weibring Golf Classic will benefit both the Redbird men's and women's golf foundation accounts that are used to supplement team travel and enhance on-campus facilities. This year's event will specifically support a locker room renovation and branding project that will provide needed space for the teams at Weibring GC and make a great impression on recruits coming to the facility. Both teams were ranked at the top of the MVC this past season and return the bulk of their squads to make a championship run in 2022.
 
The event is open to the public and players of all skill levels are invited to attend. The day will feature the 18-hole event, lunch, on-course beverages, mulligans and hole games while also including participant appreciation gifts and an awards social post-round.
 
Cost for the event is $150 per playing spot or $600 for a foursome. Sponsorship opportunities are available by calling (309) 438-0089.
