Reggie’s Kids Club Night Set For Sept. 4 at Hancock Stadium

NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State kicks off its historic 125th football season with a fun night of promotions under the lights at Hancock Stadium on Saturday, September 4, when the Redbirds take on Butler in the 2021 season opener.

The annual Reggie's Kids Club Night headlines the event. All Reggie's Kids Club members can reserve one free game ticket by entering the promo code KC21 at GoRedbirds.com/Promotions. The first 500 kids 12-and-under to arrive at the game on the West concourse of Hancock Stadium will also receive a clear backpack courtesy of Town of Normal Parks and Recreation and CEFCU, the presenting sponsor of Reggie's Kids Club.

Parents/guardians can purchase additional discounted tickets for $13 each. The free member ticket expires on Friday, September 3, at 4 p.m. As is tradition, fans will also enjoy a halftime firework show presented by BOPI that will be accompanied by the Big Red Marching Machine.

The fun continues for Illinois State University students, as the first 500 in attendance will receive a FREE, white monochromatic "Saturday's In Normal" t-shirt in the first of four t-shirt giveaways called SHIRTember during the month. Students will also have a fun new experience in the stands when the team enters the stadium before kickoff.

CommUniversity is also back, but in a reimagined way. The McLean County Chamber of Commerce has partnered to still offer a discounted ticket and parking pass package to chamber businesses and employees. For more information about CommUniversity: Reimagined, contact the Chamber at (309) 829-6344 or the Redbird Athletics Ticket Office at (309) 438-8000.
