About the Course:Â The Club at Old Hawthorne sits on 631 acres of what was once a horse farm, hence the horse featured in our logo. So, where stallions once romped and roamed the rolling hills, today golfers stride manicured fairways and families select wooded lots to put down their own roots. The original portion of the clubhouse was built in 1938 as an exact replica of President Andrew Jackson's home, "The Hermitage.".
Next Time Out: The Redbirds get a short turnaround to their next event, the Coyote Creek Classic hosted by Bradley at Coyote Creek Golf course on Saturday, October 9 and Sunday, October 10.
