NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State football team is coming off a dominant season-opening win over Butler and heads to Kalamazoo this weekend to take on Western Michigan. ISU head coach Brock Spack will talk about each game on Thursday at The Brock Spack Show, presented by Bud Light, live from Schooners in Bloomington beginning at 6 p.m.
Coach Spack will talk with Redbird football play-by-play voice Dick Luedke and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about his team's preparation for Broncos and what he learned about his squad after the win over Butler. This week, the crew will be joined by sophomore quarterback Bryce Jefferson as the player guest. Jefferson accounted for four touchdowns in the win for the Redbirds over Butler.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Portions of the show will also be broadcast live on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.
All patrons planning to attend the show in person will be asked to abide by all safety guidelines set by Schooners, the town of Bloomington and the State of Illinois.
