NORMAL, Ill. - Senior Kendee Hilliard had a team-high 10 kills for the Illinois State volleyball team in a three-set loss to Missouri Valley Conference-leading UNI on Friday at CEFCU Arena.
UNI controlled the majority of the match, but the Redbirds had the third set tied 13-13 before falling behind.
Hilliard accounted for half of the team's kills as Illinois State falls to 11-14 overall and 4-10 in the MVC. UNI improves to 21-6 overall and 14-0 in the MVC.
