NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State Baseball Team has announced its 2022 promotional schedule. See below for the team's promotions. Illinois State opens its home slate on Thursday against undefeated and 19th-ranked Purdue.
Youth Team Tours
- Youth team tours are free for all teams and include watching batting practice in the ISU dugout, facility tours of Duffy Bass Field and Hancock Stadium and recognition as the "Redbird Baseball Honorary Youth Team."
- To become the Honorary Youth Team for a game this season, contact Alex Torres at aatorr3@ilstu.edu. This experience is limited to one team per game and scheduling is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Single Game Promotions
Thursday, March 17 (5pm) vs Purdue: Home Opener (March Madness)
- March Madness Bracket Challenge: First 100 fans to the game can enter and fill out a bracket for a chance to win prizes that include the opportunity to throw a first pitch at an Illinois State Baseball game.
- Hot Chocolate Bar Concession Special
Sunday, March 27 (1pm) vs Saint Louis: Spring Fever (Olympics)
- Celebrate the beginning of Spring with pregame Olympic activities for kids of all ages. The games will begin at 12 pm so get here early to be first in line.
- On field extravaganza: Kids and their parents can go on the field after the game is over to play catch in the outfield for 20 minutes along with running the bases.
Tuesday, March 29 (5pm) vs Iowa: MLB Day
- There might not be a normally scheduled opening day this year, but we got you covered. Come to the game wearing your favorite MLB team gear.
