NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State has rescheduled the softball series with the Drake Bulldogs (6-15, 1-2 MVC) as a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 5 beginning at 12 p.m. at Marian Kneer Stadium.
The original schedule had the Redbirds and the Bulldogs set for a three-game series on Mar. 26-27 for the Redbirds' 2022 home opener, but the series was postponed due to the Missouri Valley Conference's weather threshold policy.
The Redbirds will return to action on Apr. 2-3 for a three-game set against the Indiana State Sycamores (14-11, 2-1 MVC) at Marian Kneer Stadium. Saturday, Apr. 2 will be a doubleheader starting at 12 p.m., followed by a single game on Sunday, Apr. 3 at 12 p.m.
