Reyes Wraps Up First NCAA Zone C Diving Championships

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Freshman diver Eva Reyes wrapped up her first appearance at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships in the 3-meter competition this afternoon at the Donald B. Canham Natatorium in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Reyes, the MVC Freshman Diver of the Year, posted a score of 196.10 in the event, taking 45th overall.

On day one of the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships, junior Kamryn Blake had a strong showing for the Redbirds, finishing 33rd in the 1-meter with a score of 238.10 - the best 1-meter score by an Illinois State diver at Zones since 2018. Reyes took 42nd with a score of 229.45 in the 1-meter.

UP NEXT

Six Redbird swimmers will compete at the CSCAA National Invitational Championships in Elkhart, Indiana this weekend, March 10-12 to conclude the 2021-22 season.
