NORMAL, Ill. - Illinois State Athletics, the University and Radio Bloomington will partner to host a watch party on Sunday, May 22, inside Redbird Arena in support of Normal's own Leah Marlene as she competes in the American Idol top 3! Nearly 20,000 fans showed up in support of Leah Marlene on Tuesday in Uptown Normal for a parade and concert, and with excitement in the community at an all-time high its time to gather together in a big space to cheer her on together.
The event is FREE and open to the public, with doors to Redbird Arena opening at 6 p.m. prior to the start of the finale at 7 p.m. No outside food or drink will be permitted, however concessions will be available for purchase throughout the show around the concourse. Parking will be made available in the lots adjacent to the stadium and all entrances to Redbird Arena will be open.
COUNTRY Financial will also be providing a voucher for a free small popcorn and soda, while supplies last. The vouchers will be passed out upon entrance and can be redeemed at the concession stands.
