NORMAL, Ill. – The 2022 Illinois State Athletics Percy Family Hall of Fame class was officially announced Wednesday, as Marshaun Coprich '16 (football), 2014 and 2015 All-American and two-time MVFC Offensive Player of the Year; Heather Forsyth '06 (soccer), two-time MVC Player of the Year and four-time All-MVC selection; Abby Olson '11 (softball), NFCA All-American and three-time All-MVC First-Team selection; and Ashley Rosch '16 (volleyball), four-time MVC First-Team selection and three-time MVC All-Tournament team member.
In addition to the 2022 Hall of Fame class, Mike Zimmer, a 1979 graduate of Illinois State and longtime NFL head coach and defensive coordinator, will be honored with the Institutional Great Award. The honor recognizes an Illinois State alumnus who has achieved significant personal and professional accomplishments in sports at the professional or collegiate level.Â
The honorees will be officially inducted at the Hall of Fame breakfast at 8 a.m., Oct. 15, in the Bone Student Center Brown Ballroom on the Illinois State University campus. The class will also be recognized during the Homecoming Parade and at halftime of the Illinois State-South Dakota football game later that day. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
