NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder, LEARFIELD's Redbird Sports Properties, have launched the department's official podcast titled 'In The Nest,' hosted by ISU football and men's basketball radio voice John Fitzgerald.
Powered by The Varsity Network, 'In The Nest" will be a new home for digital content from ISU Athletics. It will take listeners and subscribers beyond live game play-by-play and coaches shows and provide in-depth conversations with all the people who make Redbird Athletics special.
Each episode, Fitzgerald with chat an ISU coach, student-athlete, staff member or alum to explore their lives and share their stories. It will also serve as a weekly recap of Redbird Athletics and prepare listeners for what's to come in the weeks ahead.
'In The Nest' is now available to stream through Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, iHeart Radio, Spotify and Stitcher. It can also be accessed on GoRedbirds.com under the Inside Athletics tab on the front page.
