NORMAL, Ill. – With Illinois State football and volleyball season just around the corner, fans have an opportunity to buy single-game tickets for the teams' 2022 seasons beginning Wednesday. Tickets will be available online at GoRedbirds.com/tickets, by phone at (309) 438-8000, or in person at the Hancock Stadium box office.
The Redbird football team, under the leadership of longtime head coach Brock Spack, will host six home contests in 2022, with the home opener set for Sept. 10 against Valparaiso at Hancock Stadium. Ticket prices vary per game for prime locations, reserved sections and general admission. For all games, there is a youth (ages 12 and younger) ticket option (available day of the game only) and children two and under are free for all games when sitting on their parents' lap.
The Redbird volleyball team, under the direction of first-year head coach Allie Matters, opens its home schedule with the Redbird Classic as Illinois State will welcome Oral Roberts, Green Bay, and SEMO to Redbird Arena from Sept. 2-3. Five Missouri Valley Conference home matches highlight a busy October for the Redbirds, while Illinois State hosts Bradley for its regular season finale on Nov. 16.
Single-game volleyball tickets start at $10 for adults and $5 for youth 12 and under (free with a Reggie's Kids Club membership), and ISU students are admitted for free with valid student ID. Group single-game rates for 15 or more fans are also $5 each, with all volleyball seating at Redbird Arena being general admission. Youth tickets are only available the day of the contest.
Red Alert members receive free admission for all contests with their student ID, while all other Illinois State University students can purchase $5 football tickets per game throughout the season with their valid student ID. Volleyball tickets are free for Illinois State students with their student ID.
Group ticket rates are also available for parties of 15 or more for each game except for the Family Weekend and Homecoming contests. The Touchdown Terrace provide an option for groups looking for a more private, premium seating opportunity. These tents in the south end zone of the stadium include food and beverage options and premium field-level seating.
