NORMAL, Ill. – Following a big 35-7 win over in-state rival Eastern Illinois last weekend in the annual Mid-America Classic, the Illinois State football team has a bye week before hosting Southern Illinois on Oct. 1 to open conference play. ISU head coach Brock Spack will recap the win over the Panthers on Thursday at The Brock Spack Show, presented by Bud Light, live from Schooners in Bloomington beginning at 6 p.m.
Coach Spack will chat with Redbird football play-by-play voice John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about his team's performance against the Panthers and what they have been up to during the bye. This week, they will be joined by player guest Jalen Carr and special guest offensive coordinator Tony Petersen.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network.
