NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State football team opens Missouri Valley Football Conference action this Saturday against No. 19 ranked Southern Illinois at Hancock Stadium, and the team will have a different look as it debuts black jerseys and red helmets. This week, they will be joined by two-time MVFC Defensive Player of the Week Zeke Vandenburgh and special guest Boomer Grigsby, who will be honored by the National Football Foundation on Saturday as part of his On-Campus Salute in recognition for his selection into the 2022 College Football Hall of Fame.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard.
