NORMAL, Ill. - Junior Kaitlyn Prondzinski recorded a match-high 10 kills in a 3-0 win over SEMO as the Illinois State volleyball team completed a 3-0 weekend at the Redbird Classic in Redbird Arena on Saturday.
Prondzinski, who was named the tournament's MVP, hit .375 while senior Kendee Hilliard added nine kills for Illinois State (4-2 overall)
Illinois State survived a set point in the second set but controlled the majority of the match, producing 12 service aces. Senior Kaity Weimerskirch had four service aces, including a stretch of three-straight in the first set. Weimerskirch also had a match-high 15 digs.
