Illinois State Swim and Dive secured three wins Friday in the opening night of its two-day dual with UNI, which the two sides will cap off tomorrow afternoon in Cedar Falls. Sophomore Eva Reyes grabbed a victory on the boards while sophomore Emma Feltzer and senior Madyson Morse both won in the pool.Â
The Redbirds trail 110-76 after ten events have been completed in the dual.Â
Highlights:
- Eva Reyes opened the weekend by taking first in the 3M dive. She posted a season-high mark of 287.93 to beat out UNI's Taylor Hogan, who was the 3M champion and MVC Diver of the Year at the 2022 Valley Championships.
- Emma Feltzer won for Illinois State in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:50.69, which bested her mark of 1:55.57 from the season opener Oct. 8 vs McKendree.
- Madyson Morse rounded out the Redbird victories Friday night with her first-place time of 1:04.44 in the 100-yard Breaststroke.

Action will resume tomorrow with the 1M dive at 9:30 AM CT. Swim events will resume Saturday at 11 AM CT with the 200-yard medley relay.
