CARMEL, Ind.- The Redbirds conclude their cross country races before the 2023 MVC Championship.
As the Pre-MVC races conclude, the Redbird men just finished the Stan Lyons Invite at Butler University. Freshman Carter Smott led the way for the Redbirds as he kept a 5:16 minute pace and taking 8th place with a time of 23:23.3. Senior Tyler Polak was just behind him as he took 11th with a time of 23:37.9. Sophomore Jeff Luka kept a 5:28 minute pace as he claimed 20th with a time of 24:17.0. Rounding out the top-4 runners for the Redbirds was freshman Nathan Virginelli, as he rode a 5:30 minute pace to 22nd place with a time of 24:25.8.
The Redbirds are back in action on Friday, October 27th at the MVC Championship races hosted by Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. First race will start at 9:30 A.M. CT.
