DES MOINES, Iowa - Despite six kills from both Kara Cooper and Aida Shadewald, the Illinois State volleyball team dropped a three-set match to the Drake Bulldogs on Saturday at the Knapp Center.
Hannah Reichensperger posted five kills of her own against the Bulldogs with a .143 hitting percentage to go with two block assists.
Emily Weber would notch exactly 20 assists on Saturday, marking her 18th straight match with at least 20+ assists this season.
Drake controlled the match flow for majority of the three sets, as ISU would only see one lead in any set (7-6 in set three) while the match would be knotted in score seven times across all three sets.
Illinois State now sits at 11-14 overall and 9-4 in MVC play while Drake jumps to 18-7 overall and 11-2 in MVC play.
