GREEN BAY, Wis. – Illinois State Volleyball wrapped up their time at the Capital Credit Union Classic in Green Bay, Wisconsin with a three-set victory over Green Bay Saturday at the Kress Center.
The Redbirds swept the match 25-10, 25-23, 25-19 as the focus now shifts to the 2023 Missouri Valley Conference season, beginning Friday in CEFCU Arena.
Illinois State improves to 2-10 on the season while Green Bay drops to 2-10 to conclude the weekend.

Illinois State is scheduled to return home to Normal on Friday to kickstart the 2023 MVC season with a 6:00 p.m. CT match versus Drake. The 'Birds will look to secure their first home win versus the Bulldogs since 2021.
The Redbirds have won four out of the last five home matches versus Drake and seven of the last ten in the series.
