NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State University Interim Director of Athletics Dr. Jeri Beggs has announced several senior staff promotions within the Redbird Athletics Department, effective immediately.
"Since joining the athletics department, I have been looking for ways to develop and grow our staff professionally while also looking for efficiencies," Beggs stated. "My motto has been that I want people to grow with us, not away from us. Our senior staff is an integral part of the success of our programs, and we have very talented and dedicated people in those roles currently. As job responsibilities were added, we wanted to make sure these deserving individuals were recognized for their work."
The senior staff promotions include:
·   Leanna Bordner, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Woman Administrator
·   Cindy Harris, Executive Associate Athletic Director for Compliance & Student Services
·   Scott Renfro, Sr. Associate Athletic Director for Compliance & Student Services

·   Marc Martindale, Associate Athletic Director for Events & Facilities
·   Mike Williams, Associate Athletic Director for Communications
·   Alex Cain, Assistant Athletic Director for Game Operations
·   James Durrant, Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance & Student Services
