NORMAL, Ill. – Fresh off a much-needed bye week, the Illinois State football team returns to Hancock Stadium this Saturday to host Youngtown State at 2 p.m. on Military Appreciation Day. ISU head coach Brock Spack will talk about his team's work during the bye week and preview the game against YSU at Schooners on Thursday at 6 p.m. for a Halloween edition of The Brock Spack Show, presented by Redbird Ale from DESTIHL.
Coach Spack will chat with Redbird football play-by-play voice John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about his team's preparations for the Penguins. This week, they will be joined by linebacker Tye Niekamp and Director of Equipment Operations Nick Watson as special guests.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Portions of the show will also be broadcast live on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.
