CHICAGO – Illinois State women's basketball (6-4, 0-0 MVC) put four players in double figures to move by Chicago State (0-12, 0-0 NEC) 79-52 Sunday at Jones Convocation Center, earning its third win of the season over an in-state foe.

Elyce Knudsen and Doneelah Washington both tallied 12 points in the first half, finishing with double figures for Illinois State Sunday. Knudsen led Illinois State with 15 points overall, knocking down a pair of threes and grabbing three rebounds in the win. Washington tallied 12 points in the first quarter alone, closing with a mark of 14 points that is a high for her young career. She reached double figures for the fourth time in the last six games.
