ST. LOUIS, MO. - Illinois State track & field's Brandon Ratliff earns MVC Track Athlete of the Week Honors, as announced by the Missouri Valley Conference Thursday morning.
Senior Brandon Ratliff earns MVC Track Athlete of the Week, this is Ratliff's first honor of the year after he broke the facility record at IUPUI this past weekend in the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.89. Ratliff took first in the men's 60m hurdles last weekend at IUPUI, as well as first at the Coughlan/Malloy cup held on January 12 at Indiana State. Ratliff currently sits atop the MVC for the 60m hurdles as the defending indoor champ earns this week's track athlete of the week.

Ratliff and the Illinois State track & field squad will head to the Meyo Invitational in South Bend while the majority of the team will compete in the Keck Select in Bloomington at Illinois Wesleyan.
