NORMAL, Ill. – The 2024 season opens on Saturday in Iowa, as the No. 19 ranked Illinois State football team heads to Kinnick Stadium to take on Big Ten Conference foe and No. 25 ranked Iowa. ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the upcoming matchup with the Hawkeyes on Thursday at the first The Brock Spack Show of the season, live from Schooners in Bloomington beginning at 6 p.m.
Coach Spack will chat with Redbird football play-by-play voice John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about his team's offseason preparations for the opener against the Hawkeyes. This week, they will be joined by quarterback Tommy Rittenhouse and Defensive Assistant Head Coach and Outside Linebackers mentor Kye Stewart as special guests.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network.
