SOUTH BEND, Ind.– Illinois State men's tennis fell (2-3) to the nationally-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish (6-1) of the Atlantic Coast Conference 6-1 on Sunday afternoon inside Eck Tennis Pavilion.
In singles play, freshman Christian Capacci secured a win at No. 4 over Kyran Magimay of the Fighting Irish in straight-sets by scores of 7-6, 6-4.
The Redbirds will return to Evergreen Racquet Club on Feb. 1 as ISU hosts the Northern Illinois University Huskies of the Mid-American Conference with first serve at 4:30.
