BLOOMINGTON, Ill.-- Illinois State swept a double header against Western Illinois (OVC) and University of Illinois Springfield (GLVC) by scores of 4-3 and 6-1. The Redbirds claimed eight singles victories and three doubles wins.
Illinois State will travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday to face Big East foe in the Marquette Golden Eagles, before returning to Evergreen Racquet Club to host in-state rival Chicago State of the Western Athletic Conference at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
