Snow Picks Up Event Win As Redbirds Close Out Day One In Champaign

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois State swim and dive closed out day one of the House of Paign Invite from ARC Pool in Champaign, Ill.  

Senior Mia Snow claimed an event victory for Illinois State with a win in the 100 Y Fly with a time of 54.57. 

Sophomore Hailey Fris picked up Illinois State's first podium finish with a time of 57.46 in the 100 Y Back in a third-place effort. 

A week after claiming two event wins, Freshman Ava Ostendorf recorded a season-best mark in the 200 Y Breast with a time of 2:18.83 in a fourth-place effort. 

Sophomore Hope Westphal recorded a season-best time in the 1000 Y Free with a mark of 10:38.69. 

Sophomore Ines Kieffel notched her best time of the season in the 50 Y Free with a time of 24.23.
