Khenedi Guest Named First Team All-MVC

ST. LOUIS – Illinois State sophomore middle hitter Khenedi Guest has been named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference First Team, announced by the Conference office on Wednesday morning.

Guest leads the Redbirds with 112 blocks and 214 kills, while sporting an attack percentage of .282. Her block total (112) is third-best in the MVC, as is her 1.14 block per set average.

The Benton, Arkansas, native, was named the MVC Freshman of the Year in 2024, and she is one of just 10 players in the MVC to rank inside the top-30 in the conference in attack percentage, kills per set, and blocks per set. She had seven matches this season with double-figure kills, including a career-high 22 at home against Valparaiso on October 3. She also had 11 matches with 5+ blocks, and had she had a career-high 10 in three sets at Indiana State on September 26.

The Redbirds open play in the MVC Tournament on Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. when the team travels back to Chicago to face off against the UIC Flames.
