Redbirds Set To Host Dugout Club Dinner February 7

NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State baseball is set to host its sixth annual Dugout Club Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 7. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Aaron Leetch Club at Hancock Stadium.

Brighton native and 2006 World Series Champion, Jason Isringhausen, will be the Redbird's featured guest for the program. Isringhausen, a two-time All-Star as a member of the Oakland Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals, tallied 300 saves across his 16-year career before his retirement in 2012. Isringhausen is one of only 31 players in MLB history to record 300 or more saves in their career.

Isringhausen led the NL with 47 saves in 2004, which at the time tied a Cardinals franchise record for the most in a single season by a pitcher. Across seven seasons in St. Louis, Isringhausen recorded 217 saves, which remains the most in Cardinals franchise history. In 2019, Isringhausen was inducted as a member of the Cardinals Hall of Fame.

All guests must RSVP before Feb. 4, and two separate ticket packages are available to purchase. The Grand Slam VIP Package for $1,250 includes an invitation to the pre-event cocktail hour with student-athletes and coaches, reserved seating for up to eight guests, with a chance to sit with an Illinois State student-athlete. Individual tickets to the event are available for $125 per person.
