TERRE HAUTE, IN – Illinois State women's basketball (15-9, 9-4 MVC) put five scorers into double-figure scorers in an 85-77 come-from-behind win over Indiana State (4-20, 2-11) Thursday night inside the Hulman Center.

Illinois State's post duo of Nevaeh Thomas and Addison Martin both reached double figures. Thomas scored 12 of her 19 points in the second half, adding 5 rebounds and 5 assists to an 8-for-13 (61.5%) effort from the field. Martin totaled 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the win.

Trista Fayta totaled a solid all-around effort of 8 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in the win, playing 18 minutes off the bench.

Illinois State trailed 37-35 at halftime, before using a 12-5 run to take a 47-45 lead at the 4:04 mark of the third. Thomas scored four-straight points at the end of that run, giving Illinois State a lead that the Redbirds never surrendered. Illinois State took a 55-50 lead into the fourth on a long ball from Thomas.

The Redbird run continued into the fourth, jumping ahead 85-70 in the final moments. Wong finished through contact, then knocked down the free throw and Illinois State led 65-57 at the 6:52 mark of the fourth. Addi Martin put up an and-1 of her own moments later and the Redbirds led 76-67.
