Birds Conclude Day One at MVC Swimming and Diving Championships

WAUKEE, Iowa –  The Illinois State Swimming and Diving team opened up the Missouri Valley Conference Championships on Wednesday. The Birds were led by a fifth place finish from Team A of Chloe Tyler, Sydney Hoff, Mia Snow and Ella Turken in the 200-medley relay (1:40.73).  

INDIVIDUAL FINISHES (Top-10)

• 200 Medley Relay Team B- Delaney Boulden, Hailey Fris, Giulia Basco and Ines Kieffel finished with a time of 1:43.35.

• In the 800 Yard Free Relay- Amelia Murphy, Lauren Hervey, Sylvia Admire and Emma Feltzer placed seventh with a time of 7:30.96.

• On the boards, the team of Selena Corona, Emma Thompson and Eva Reyes placed second recording a team score of 258.75.
