NORMAL, Ill. – The 2025 Illinois State football season opener is just three days away, as the No. 6 ranked Illinois State football team heads to Norman, Oklahoma, to take on No. 18 ranked Oklahoma to open the season slate. ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the upcoming matchup with the Sooners at Schooners on Thursday at 6 p.m. at The Brock Spack Show, presented by Redbird Ale from DESTIHL.
Coach Spack will chat with Redbird football play-by-play voice John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about his team's offseason preparations for the season opener against one of college football's most storied programs in Oklahoma. This week, they will be joined by transfer running back Victor Dawson and new running backs coach Mike Grant as special guests.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network.
