NORMAL, Ill. - Fans may be noticing a lack of service on the official Illinois State Athletics app of late, as the department is undergoing a refresh of the app with a new app provider. The app will be transitioning over to service from SIDEARM Sports, the same company and services the official Illinois State Athletics website at GoRedbirds.com.
The new app is expected to be online and transitioned over soon, but in the meantime fans are encouraged to use the mobile version of GoRedbirds.com, which always has the latest stories, stats, and information regarding the athletics department. There will be no need to re-download the app to your mobile device once the move is finished, as it will show in the app you have already downloaded.
The department apologizes for any inconveniences the app refresh has caused, but the new app once live will feature several fan-friendly upgrades that will make getting the latest information on the Redbird easier than ever.
