NORMAL, Ill. – The No. 12 ranked Illinois State football team is on its bye week, but that does not mean ISU head coach Brock Spack will not be on the patio at Schooners on Thursday night for his weekly show, as he will be on the air Thursday at 6 p.m. for The Brock Spack Show, presented by Robert Redding Menswear.
Coach Spack will chat with Redbird football play-by-play voice John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about what last week's defeat at the hands of No. 1 ranked South Dakota State and talk about what his team has been up to on the bye week. This week, they will be joined by linebackers Tye and Dexter Niekamp and defensive coordinator Travis Niekamp as special guests.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Portions of the show will also be broadcast live on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.
