NORMAL, Ill. – The two-time defending Missouri Valley Conference Champion Illinois State men's golf team has announced its 11-tournament 2026-27 schedule, including tournaments across 10 states, leading into the opportunity for its third consecutive MVC title opportunity.

The season opens at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate, hosted by Coastal Carolina on September 6-8.

Following on September 27-29, the Birds travel to Madison, Wisconsin, to compete in the Badger Invitational, the sixth consecutive season that ISU has competed in the event.

The following weekend the team will play at the Kemper Lakes Invitational, hosted at Kemper Lakes Country Club on October 5-6, while competing a weekend later at the Purdue Fall Invitational, the sixth straight fall season that the Birds will compete in the yearly fall event.

The fall season closes on October 19 and 20 when the squad travels east to Kettering, Ohio, to compete in the Flyer Invitational, hosted at NCR Country Club – South Course, as the Redbirds are the defending champion at the event.

Four months later on February 15-16, the season continues for ISU at the Border Olympics, hosted by the University of Houston – a tournament that ISU will be playing in for the seventh consecutive season.

A first-time tournament for the Redbirds follows on February 28 through March 2 at the Lake Jovita Invitational, hosted by Ball State at Lake Jovita South Course in Dade City, Florida.

Two return tournaments are next up on the schedule, the first at the Louisiana Classics on March 8-9 – the seventh consecutive year that ISU is in the field, and that is followed by the Tiger Invitational, the Redbirds' seventh all-time appearance in the tournament, held on April 5-6.

The pre-MVC season closes with a pair of tournaments, the Everett Buick GMC Classic on April 12-13, hosted by Little Rock, while the one-day April 17 Spring Boilermaker Shootout closes the regular season.

The Missouri Valley Conference Championship is on April 25-27, hosted at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
