NORMAL, Ill. – After finishing the non-conference portion of the season at 4-0, the No. 3 ranked Illinois State football team will begin Missouri Valley Football Conference action this Saturday at Northern Iowa. ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the upcoming matchup with the Panthers at Schooners on Thursday at 6 p.m. at The Brock Spack Show, presented by Robert Redding Menswear.
Coach Spack will chat with Redbird football play-by-play voice John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about retaining the Mid-America Classic Trophy after a 49-13 win at Hancock Stadium over Eastern Illinois last week and he will preview the upcoming matchup with UNI. This week, they will be joined by safety La'Shavion Brown and defensive quality control coach Jake Barro as special guests.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Portions of the show will also be broadcast live on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.
