recipient.
2009-10: Played in all 33 games and started the last 31
contests of the season, his first career starts • Posted at least three steals
in six games, including a career-best four against Northern Iowa (Jan. 9) • Led
the squad in three-point percent shooting with a 36.5 percent clip • Posted a
solid all-around game against Morehead State (Feb. 20) with a career-best 15
points, a career-high six rebounds, five assists and only one turnover • Dished
out a career-best six assists against Drake (Feb. 6) without a single turnover
• Scored a then-career-best 13 points in back-to-back games against Northern
Iowa (Jan. 9) and Evansville (Jan. 13) • Only played four minutes at SIU
Edwardsville, the season-opener, after suffering a concussion in the exhibition
win over Quincy • Tallied five double-digit scoring games on the season • Also
led the team in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.33.
2008-09: Played in 21 games, all as a reserve • Missed the
first 11 games of the season after suffering a "Jones fracture" on his left
foot in October 2008 • Equaled his season-best with six points in a
career-tying 22 minutes played against Evansville (March 6) in the
quarterfinals of the 2009 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament •
Also scored six points at Drake (Feb. 15) and against Creighton (Jan. 3) •
Scored his first points of the season with a three-pointer against Evansville
(Dec. 31) • Registered 20 assists on the season with only nine turnovers in 230
minutes played for a team-best 2.22 assist-to-turnover ratio.
2007-08: Appeared in 20 games, including the last 11 of the
season • Averaged 1.4 points, 0.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game • His
three-pointer in the State Farm MVC Tournament quarterfinals against Missouri
State (March 7) gave ISU a 53-51 lead that it did not relinquish • Scored a
career-high seven points on 2-of-3 shooting, including one three-pointer, and
had one assist in 10 minutes against Wright State (Feb. 24) • Scored three
points in eight minutes at Evansville (Feb. 20) • Played seven minutes at
Indiana State (Feb. 16) • Scored a season-high six points and two assists in
the season opener against Missouri-St. Louis (Nov. 7) • Chipped in six points
on two made three-pointers at Ball State (Dec. 22).
Armstrong High School: Led the Falcons to a 19-10 overall
record, a sectional championship and a second-place finish in the state his
senior season • Averaged 20 points, five assists and four rebounds per game •
Was a finalist for Minnesota's "Mr. Basketball" Award in 2007 • A two-time
All-Classic Lake Conference selection • Averaged 14.5 points and 4.8 assists
per game as a junior • In 2006, was named to the all-metro defensive second
team and was an honorable mention all-state selection • Was an all-conference
selection as a sophomore • Played AAU basketball for the Minnesota Magic Elite
