Indoor: Finished fourth at the Redbird Open with a 60-meter dash time of 8.12...Captured a personal-best time of 8.03 in the 60-meter dash at the Redbird Invite to finish fifth...Notched a personal-best 26.51 in the 200-meter race at the Wisconsin Elite to finish sixth.

Outdoor: Tallied three top-five finishes in the 100-meter...Recorded personal-bests 12.06 in the 100-meter and 24.92 in the 200-meter at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships ...Captured five consecutive top-five finishes as a part of the 4X100-meter relay team.

PRIOR TO ISU

Amos Alonzo High School: Four-sport athlete at Amos Alonzo Stagg high school (soccer, track, gymnastics, volleyball)...team captain and team MVP on Regional champion soccer team as a senior...All-Conference, All-Sectional and All-Area selection...also won regional championships as a sophomore...3A state qualifier in the 400-meter relay in track as a senior, the first relay team in school history to qualify for state...set school records in the 200-meter dash, 400-meter relay, 800-meter relay (outdoor), 200-meter dash, 55-meter dash, 800-meter relay and 1,600-meter relay (indoor)...state qualifier in the vault as a senior for gymnastics...team captain and team MVP...3A track state qualifier in the 200M as a junior and freshman...gymnastics team won conference championship as a junior, a regional championships as a sophomore and placed 2nd in the state as a freshman.

Personal:Sarah Elizabeth Mussallem...daughter of John and Ellyn Mussallem...has two youngers sisters, Hannah and Allyson...also running track at ISU...majoring in elementary education.
