At Pana High School: 2008 Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class A pole vault champion ... qualified for the state meet all four years and claimed the top spot her senior year, clearing a height of 10 feet, 6 inches ... holds the school record in the pole vault with a career-best height of 10-9 ... also a member of her high school volleyball and basketball teams.
