Indoor: Competed at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship in the 3,000-meter run where he posted a time of 8:33.86 and placed 16th overall…posted his season-best 3,000 meter at the Meyo Invitational with a time of 8:26.02…placed first in the men’s 3,000 meter at the Indiana State Double Dual…Ran a 4:13.93 in the mile run at the Mark Colligan Memorial and placed ninth overall. 

Outdoor: Ran the 5,000-meter run at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships and posted atime of 14:55.81 placing 16th overall...placed fifth at the Illinois Twilight in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a season-best time of 9:46.30.

2014-15

Indoor: Competed in the mile run at the Meyo Invitational and posted a time of 4:17.59…at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships earned a time of 4:20.80 placing 12th…also competed in the 3,000-meter…at the Terre Haute captured a time of 8:39.18 placing fifth overall…at the Indiana Relays clocked a time of 8:29.31…earned a time of 8:30.63 at the GVSU Big Meet…at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships clocked a time of 8:34.34 placed 16th overall. 

Outdoor: Captured his personal-best in the 3000 meter steeplechase at the Redbird Invite with a time of 9:23.26 and earned first place…at the Illinois Twilight earned third place with a time of 9:36.73…captured a time of 9:45.26 at the Big Blue Classic…competed at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships and placed sixth with a time of 9:24.83 …at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships  clocked a time of 15:14.76 in the 5000-meter…competed in the 1500-meter at the Lenny Lyles where he earned a time of 4:02.92…clocked a time of 4:03.47 at the Lee Calhoun Invite…at the Drake Relays participated in the 4 x 1600 where the team clocked a time of 17:08.02.

2013-14

Indoor: Posted a personal-best mile time of 4:11.18 at the Meyo Invitational to finish 10th in a field of 37 and sit in the second spot of the ISU season-best list … scored points for the Redbird squad with a sixth-place mile time of 4:16.89 at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships … held the season-best 3,000m time for the Redbirds, clocking a personal-best time of 8:16.81 at the Iowa State Classic … finished 10th at the MVC Championships with a 3,000m time of 8:33.77 … a member of the second-place DMR team that finished second, earning All-Valley honors at the Valley meet with a time of 10:04 … helped the Redbird DMR team to a season-best performance at the Iowa State Classic with a time of 10:01.00.

Outdoor: Ran a personal-best 5,000-meter time of 14:36.50at the Jesse Owens Classic to finish 15th in a field of 41 … clocked a 5,000m time of 15:09.50 at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships to place 16th … ran a leg of the men’s DMR team, posting a time of 9:59.92 to finish fifth at the Sea Ray Relays … a member of the 4x1,600m relay team that finished eighth at the Drake Relays with a time of 16:54.82. 

PRIOR TO ISU

Maine South High School: Eckhart spent two years at Illinois before transferring to Illinois State...Four year letterwinner in both track and field and cross country...As a senior he notched a third-place finish in the 3200-meter run at the state competition to accompany a seventh-place finish at the state cross country meet...Notched a first-place finish in the 3200-meter run and a third-place finish in the 1600-meter run at sectionals...Helped lead his team to a 10th-place finish at state as a junior...Personal-best three-mile time 14:33.
