2017-18/Senior at Illinois State

Appeared in five tournaments, including the Missouri Valley Conference Championship (4/24). Averaged 77.6 strokes per round. At the MVC Championship, finished in a three-way tie for 28^th individually with a score of 234 (79-78-77). Shot a season-low score of 227 (82-74-71) at the Mobile Sports Authority Inter. (2/18).

2016-17/Junior at Illinois State                                                      
Voted Honorable Mention All-Missouri Valley Conference Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete... Averaged a 76.5 over 17 rounds... Tallied 13 rounds in the 70s... Shot a 236 (76-77-83) in the season-opening Badger Invitational (9/13)... Concluded the fall season with a 223 (77-75-71) playing as an individual at Notre Dame's Fighting Irish Gridiron Golf Classic (10/13) and carded a 1-over-par 71 in the final round... Played as an individual at the first spring tournament - South Alabama's Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate (2/21) - and finished with a 240 (80-81-79)... Produced a career-low three-round score of 6-over-par 222 (72-77-73) at Florida State's Seminole Intercollegiate (3/12), which included an even-par 72 in the opening round and a 1-over-par 73 in the final round... Fired a career-low 1-under-par 70 in the first round of Oral Roberts' Bob Sitton Invitational (3/16) and finished with a 227 (71-80-76)... Tallied a pair of 76s to finish with a 152 at the I-74 Challenge (3/25) individual tournament with Bradley.

2015-16/Sophomore at Illinois State                                                      
Appeared in two tournaments (D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate and Bradley Invitational) and saw six rounds of play. Averaged a score of 78 with scores of 226 (76-76-74) and 242 (85-80-77).

2014-15/Freshman at Illinois State                                               
Appeared in 10 tournaments and 26 rounds during his freshman year. Averaged 75 strokes per round throughout his appearances. 

High School                                                                                          
Attended Waubonsie Valley High School, where he set a school record in the state finals after shooting a 146 after two days of play. Named as team captain during his Senior year and earned All-State, All-Conference and Conference MVP honors. Made the honor roll all four years of high school. Played in the First Tee Open at Pebble Beach in 2012.

Personal
Son of Joseph and Leigh Ann Marrs. Born Sept. 13, 1995. Majoring in economics and finance and wants to go into marketing and sales. Has earned deans list honors all four semesters.
