2017-18

Indoor: Competed in the 3,000-meter run and the distance medley relay at the MVC Championships...scored points for the 'Birds in the 3,000-meter run, finishing eighth with a time of 8:30.42...earned All-Conference honors in the distance medley relay, as the team finished third in 10:06.02...over the course of the season, captured personal-bests in the mile run (4:14.52) at the Meyo Invite and 3,000-meter run (8:23.75) at the GVSU Big Meet...posted highest finish of the season at the Illini Classic, placing third in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:34.94.

Outdoor: Competed in five meets over the course of the season, including the MVC Championships...placed ninth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Valley Championships with a time of 9:21.98...recorded personal-best 3,000-meter steeplechase time of 9:06.55 at the Virginia Challenge, finishing 16th...mark ranks eighth all-time in Illinois State history...competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, placing 17th among 82 runners with a time of 9:08.69...posted personal-record 1,500-meter time of 3:56.77 at the Black & Gold Invite, finishing 12th...named a CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-District selection...recipient of the MVC's Dr. Charlotte West Scholar-Athlete Award.

2016-17

Indoor: Finished third and recorded a personal-best in the 800-meter run (1:59.20) at the John Craft Invitational...placed first in the mile run with a time of 4:19.31 at the Terre Haute Double Dual Meet...recorded a personal-record in the mile run (4:16.25) at the GVSU Big Meet Invite...competed in the mile run at MVC Championships, placing 14th.  

Outdoor: Posted a personal-best in the 1,500-meter run (3:58.42) at the Illinois State Redbird Invitational...captured a personal-record in the 5,000-meter run (14:56.06) at the EIU Big Blue Classic...finished third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a personal-best time of 9:19.08 at the Illinois Twilight Meet...placed sixth at MVC Championships with a time of 9:26.78 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

2015-16

Indoor: Competed in the Missouri Valley Conference Championship in the mile run where he posted his personal-best time of 4:18.93 and placed 11th overall…at the Double Dual he posted his personal-best 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:56.36…was a leg in the distance medley relay team at the Meyo Invitational where the squad posted a time of 10:15.46 and placed eighth overall.  

Outdoor: Competed in five meets this season...earned his personal-best 1,500-meter run at the Redbird Invite with a time of 4:01.21...placed 11th at the Wisconsin Twilight. 

PRIOR TO ISU

Tremont High School: Four-year letterwinner in track and cross country … sixth-place finisher at the state cross country championships, helping his team to a sixth-place overall finish … ran a personal-best three-mile time of 14:52 as a senior … sixth-place finisher in the 1,600-meter race at the 2012 state championships to accompany a fourth-place finish in the 3,200m … holds personal-best times of 4:25 in the 1,600m and 9:31 in the 3,200m … as a sophomore, captured a fifth-place finish in the 1,600m and posted a fifth-place finish at state as a part of the 4x800m relay team … summa cum laude.

Personal: Born 8/20/1996... son of Russell and Terrie Ehnle ... siblings are Cody and Carly ... plans to major in biology.
