2017-18

Indoor: Competed in the shot put at four meets during the indoor campaign...recorded season-best heave of 16.14m (52-11.50) at the Terre Haute Double Dual, finishing third...also placed third at the Orange & Blue Open with a throw of 15.57m (51-01.00)...finished sixth at the EIU Early Bird with a distance of 15.76m (51-08.50).

Outdoor: Competed in the shot put at three meets over the course of the outdoor season (Big Blue Classic, Redbird Invite, and Wisconsin Twilight)...captured personal-best throw of 16.50m (54-01.75) at the Wisconsin Twilight, placing seventh.

2016-17

Indoor: Posted four top-five finishes in shot put over the course of the indoor season...finished third in shot-put with a distance of 15.09m (49-06.25) at the Terre Haute Double Dual Meet...placed third in shot put at the Illinois Orange & Blue Open with a throw of 15.26m (50-00.75)...finished fifth in shot put with a throw of 15.78m (51-09.25) at the GVSU Big Meet Invite...competed in shot put at MVC Championships, placing eighth with a personal-best distance of 16.64m (54-07.25)...mark currently ranks ninth on the Illinois State Top-10 List.

Outdoor: Competed in three meets during the outdoor season...finished fourth in shot put at the Illinois State Redbird Invitational...placed tenth and recorded a season-best of 15.16m (49-09.00) in shot put at the Ole Miss/Joe Walker Invitational...finished seventh and captured a season-best of 38.75m (127-01.00) in discus at the Illinois State Redbird Invitational.

2015-16

Indoor: Competed at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships in the shot put where he threw his personal-best mark of 16.01m (52-06.50) and placed ninth overall…started his season with a second place finish at the EIU Early Bird with a mark of 15.50m (50-10.25)…threw a mark of 15.83m (51-11.25) at the GVSU Big Meet…earned third place at the Double Dual in shot put.

Outdoor: Placed eighth in the shot put at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships with a personal-best toss of 16.39m (53-09.25)...competed in the discus throw at the MVC Championships and finished 17th...earned his personal-best discus throw at the Illinois Twilight with a toss of 42.10m (138-01)...placed third in the shot put at the Redbird Invite and fourth in the discus throw.

PRIOR TO ISU 

Lyons Township High School: Three-year letter winner in track and field…two-time all-conference…sectional champion…runner-up in Boy’s IHSA State Final Meet in shot put…personal-best shot put is a mark of 18.67m (61-03)…personal-best discus throw is a mark of 45.36m (148-10).

Personal: Born 12/05/1996…son of Dan and Amy Schaufelberger…siblings are Owen and Colin…plans to major in criminal justice.
