2020-21 OUTDOOR (So.): Jumped at three meets during the 2021 outdoor season...Placed seventh in the triple jump at the Ole Miss Classic with a mark of 13.11 meters (43-0.25 ft.)...Finished fifth with a wind-aided jump of 13.40 meters (2.8w) in the triple jump at the Redbird Invite.

2020-21 INDOOR (Jr.): Competed at three meets, including the MVC Championships...Leaped to a season-best mark of 13.20 meters (43-3.75 ft.) to place third in the triple jump at the Jack Jennett Invite...Took second in the triple jump and third in the long jump at the Don DeNoon Dual...Placed 10th overall in the triple jump with a mark of 13.17 meters (43-2.5 ft.) at the MVC Championships.

2019-20 OUTDOOR (So.): Canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20 INDOOR (So.): Competed in the long jump and the triple jump at four meets throughout his sophomore indoor season...Placed fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 12.98 meters (42-7 ft.) at the EIU Early Bird...Recorded a season-best marks in both the long jump and the triple jump at the Coughlan-Malloy Cup, finishing fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 13.21 meters (43-4.25 ft.) and 10th in the long jump with a mark of 6.00 meters (19-8.25 ft.).

2018-19 OUTDOOR (Fr.): Did not compete.

2018-19 INDOOR (Fr.): Competed in the high jump and the triple jump at the MVC Indoor Championships (2/23-24), placing 15th in the triple jump with a mark of 12.67 meters (41-7 ft.)...Finished second in the triple jump at the Badger Red & White Classic (2/15), leaping to a mark of 13.16 meters (43-2.25 ft.)...Competed in the triple jump at the Music City Challenge (2/15)...Posted a mark of 6.02 meters (19-9 ft.) in the long jump at the Illini Invitational (1/25-26)...Recorded a personal-best leap of 13.46 meters (44-2 ft.) in the triple jump to finish third at the Coughlan-Malloy Cup (1/12)...Also posted a sixth-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.35 meters (20-10 ft.) at the Coughlan-Malloy Cup...Notched personal bests in the high jump and the long jump at the Jimmy Grant Invitational (12/8), clearing 1.80 meters (5-10.75 ft.) in the high jump and posting a mark of 6.37 meters (20-10.75 ft.) in the long jump.

PONTIAC TOWNSHIP HIGH SCHOOL: Five-time IHSA Class 2A State T&F Championships qualifier...qualified for the 2018 IHSA Class 2A State T&F Championships in the high jump, long jump, and triple jump...finished third in the triple jump at the IHSA State Finals in 2016 and 2018...won both the high jump and triple jump at the 2018 2A LaSalle-Peru Sectional...2018 Illinois Top Times qualifier in the high jump and triple jump, finishing fifth and ninth, respectively...garnered All-State and All-Conference honors...also a four-year starter on Pontiac's football and basketball teams...Honor Roll student. 

PERSONAL: Born November 8, 1999, in Pontiac, Illinois...son of Steve Dawson and Mary Brainard...has two younger brothers, Carter and Chase...cousins Courtney and Kaylee Kerr compete in track & field at High Point University...plans to major in physical education with hopes of becoming a physical education teacher.
