MAHOMET-SEYMOUR HIGH SCHOOL: Finished sixth overall at the 2017 IHSA Class 2A Cross Country State Championships, helping his team to their second-consecutive state championship...placed 13th individually at the state finals in 2016...cross country team was also the IHSA 2A State Cross Country Runner-Up in 2014 and 2015...on the track, three-time IHSA Class 2A T&F State Championships qualifier...qualified for the state track & field finals in the 800-meter and 1600-meter in 2018, placing ninth in the 800-meter and 12th in the 1600-meter...two-time Illinois Top Times 1600-meter qualifier, placing seventh in 2018.

PERSONAL: Born May 18, 2000, in Champaign, Illinois...son of Tom and Mary Fortune...has an older brother, Dustin, and an older sister, Hannah...plans to major in technology education to become a tech teacher.
