2022: Started all 11 games at middle linebacker … ranked No. 5 in the MVFC in sacks (5.5) and tied for No. 7 in TFLs (8.5) … ranked second on the team with 77 total tackles, 29 of which were solo stops … also credited with a forced fumble and pass breakup on the year … saved best performance of the year for the season finale, recording a career-high 16 tackles and 2.5 TFLs against Western Illinois … had 11 tackles and a sack in a win at UNI … recorded a pair of sacks and five tackles against Youngstown State … racked up eight-plus tackles in five contests, including the final two games of the season.
2021 (fall): Started all 11 games at middle linebacker for the Redbirds … ranked third on the team with 67 total tackles, including 31 solo stops … also tallied two interceptions on the season, including a 20-yard pick six in a win over South Dakota … finished the year with 4.0 TFLs and two pass breakups … recorded five games with seven tackles or more, including a career-best 10 against Missouri State … had nine stops and a TFL at Western Michigan.
2021 (spring): Started all four games at inside linebacker as the Redbirds’ signal caller … tied for the team lead with 22 tackles, including 14 solo stops … also credited with four quarterback hurries and an interception on the season … had a season high seven tackles and three quarterback hurries against South Dakota … recorded five tackles and returned an interception 29 yards for a touchdown at UNI … tied a season best with seven tackles at North Dakota State.
2019: Played in all 15 contests, mostly on special teams ... finished the season with nine total tackles, including six solo stops ... had five tackles and a half TFL in the home-opening win over Morehead State.
2018: Saw action in four contests ... redshirted.
Oak Grove HS: Started four years for head coach Pat Richard … during his prep career, earned all-state honors twice and a was a four-time all-conference performer … also selected to the all-district team four times and was a four-time academic all-conference member … recorded 212 career tackles as a linebacker and added six interceptions and 12 pass breakups … rushed for over 3,700 yards and totaled 43 touchdowns during prep career as a ball-carrier … helped lead team to a state title in 2014 … started for three years on the basketball court as well.
