2019 (Fr.): Competed in four meets during his freshman campaign...Recorded a personal-best time of 26:13.3 in the men's red race 8K, placing 104th overall at the Bradley Pink Classic (10/18)...Finished the 8K in 27:58.8 at the Gans Creek Classic (9/27), placing 58th overall...Completed the 8K circuit in 26:16.4 at the Illinois State Invite (9/13)...Made his collegiate debut at the Hawkeye Invitational (9/6) where he finished 35th overall with a time of 19:43.1 in the 6K.

METAMORA TOWNSHIP HS: A four-year letterwinner in cross country and track & field...Finished eighth in the 800-meter run as a senior to earn All-State honors...Crowned Sectional Champion in the 800 and finished fourth in the 800 at Illinois Top Times as a senior...Won the conference title in the 800 his senior year...Earned All-Conference honors in cross country as a senior...Earned All-State honors in the 4x400-meter relay and the 4x800-meter relay as a junior...A 3x conference champion in 2018, winning the 4x800, 800 and 4x400...Qualififed for state as a member of the 4x800 as a sophomore and helped the 4x800 to a conference title the same year...His team won conference five times throughout cross country and track & field...Helped Metamora to three sectional championships throughout cross country and track & field.

PERSONAL: Son of Jerry and Michelle Gray...Has one older sister, Haley...Both parents and sister also attended ISU...Plans to major in social work with aspirations of working in a clinical psychology position.
