Senior Year (2022-23)

Appeared in eight meets for the Redbirds in her senior campaign...200y Free personal best at the MVC Championships with a mark of 1:52.25...Also turned in 500y Free and 100y Free season bests at the Valley Championships.

Junior Year (2021-22)

Recorded three personal bests at the Valley Championships, including times of 1:52.64 in the 200 Free final and a 5:02.78 in the 500 Free final...Took home first with a 1000 Free at Indiana State Jan. 28 (10:34.34)...Set her season best in the 1000 Free at Southern Illinois (10:30.36) Oct. 23...Opened the year with wins in the 500 Free (5:12.00) and 1000 Free (10:34.64) vs Evansville.

Sophomore Year (2020-21)

Competed in all five meets for the Redbirds … Turned in five top-five performances … Posted a season best time of 1:54.74 in the 200-yard freestyle at the MVC Championships, while turning in a personal best time in the 1650-yard freestyle (17:21.34) to finish ninth overall in the event … Won the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:43.34 in the season opener against Valpo, before clocking in a season best time of 10:27.28 in the same event in a dual with UNI … Finished third in the 500-yard freestyle in a tri-meet at SIU with a season best time of 5:05.10.

Freshman Year (2019-20)

Competed in seven meets for the Redbirds … Turned in nine top-10 performances …. Swam a season-best time of 25.16 in the 50-yard freestyle in a dual against Indiana State … Recorded a season-best time of 5:06.72 in the 500-yard freestyle at the Purdue Invite … Posted a pair of season-best times at the Valley Championships in the 100-yard freestyle (53.30) and 200-yard freestyle (1:55.05).

Background: Four-year member of Middleton High School’s swim team … Holds the school’s 200 freestyle and medley relay records … Helped her swim team to three-straight state championships, after finishing as a runner up her freshman year … Aided in her teams’ efforts to win its ninth-straight conference championship her senior season … Recognized as a four-time all-state performer and state qualifier.

Personal: Daughter of Todd and Jacalyn Licking … Born August 9 in Madison, Wisconsin … Has two older sisters, Megan and Karley … Sister Karley was a four-year member of Illinois State’s swim team … Plans to major in human development and family science while attending ISU.
