2009: Started 30 of 32 games played, primarily as an outfielder ... also served as one of Illinois State's weekend starters and made a team-high 14 starts ... posted a 6-5 record with a 4.26 ERA ... struck out 69 batters and walked 29 in 86.2 innings pitched ... threw two complete games and combined with Matt Werderitch on a shutout against Texas-Pan American (3/14) ... struck out a career-high 10 batters against Evansville (3/22), two days after hitting a game-winning home run in extra innings against the Aces (3/20) to give the Redbirds a win in the first game played in the renovated stadium at Duffy Bass Field ... pitched at least six innings in 10 starts ... struck out five or more batters in nine starts ... batted .202 with 12 of his 21 hits going for extra bases ... hit five home runs, six doubles and one triple ... drove in a career-best three runs against Indiana State (3/27) and SIU-Edwardsville (5/16).

2008: Played in 38 games ... a two-way player, who made 11 appearances on the mound ... started seven games on the hill ... posted four-straight two-hit games to begin the season ... had two hits, including his first-career home run, to go along with three RBI versus Indiana (2/29) ... homered in back-to-back games against Indiana (2/29) and Valparaiso (3/1) at the Austin Peay Invitational ... threw a complete game and allowed only one run on five hits, while striking out five versus Lafayette College (3/15) ... that performance earned him Missouri Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week (3/17) honors ... recorded his first conference victory after a six-inning, two-run performance at Evansville (4/6) ... tallied a career-high three hits and three RBI against Bradley (5/2) ... picked up his third win of the season after throwing 5.2 innings of relief against Robert Morris College (4/16) ... also struck out a career-high six batters during that game ... finished with six multiple-hit and five multiple-RBI games ... named a Central Illinois Collegiate League All-Star while playing for the Dubois County Bombers in the summer.
